At 30.5cm across, the Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Charger is generous, sculptural, and unmistakably Portuguese — each one hand-painted in Caldas da Rainha using techniques that haven't changed since Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro founded his factory in 1884.
Use it as a base plate for a formal dinner, a serving plate for cheese and charcuterie, or simply display it on a plate rack or dresser where it can do what it does best — stop people in their tracks. The layered green glaze catches the light differently depending on the angle, and the leaf detail is crisp enough that you notice something new every time you look at it.
