Description
The charger plate is the piece that transforms a table. At 30.5cm across, the Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Charger is generous, sculptural and unmistakably Portuguese, hand-painted in Caldas da Rainha using techniques unchanged since Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro founded his factory in 1884. Use it as a base plate for a formal setting, a serving plate for cheese and charcuterie, or display it alone on a plate rack.
Hand-painted earthenware, dishwasher safe. Diameter: 30.5cm. Made in Portugal.
Available in New Zealand through Villarosa Maison in Nelson, one of a handful of local stockists, and a piece customers often come back to buy a second of.
